Job Title:

Remote Mental Health Counselor (We offer a sign-on bonus for this role).

Job Objective:

To provide mental health treatment and assessment to stable, low-acuity adults through individualized counseling.

Schedule/Work Environment:

Full-time (>30 hours/week), or part-time (>5 hours/week). Make your own schedule. Fully remote(link removed) Work from the comfort of your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

Clinical mental health services are primarily to be provided via video chat. The counselor must develop and implement person-centered, recovery solution-based treatment plans. The activities associated with the primary responsibility of Mental Health Counselors are:

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling from home.
• Ongoing assessment of treatment needs.
• Develop and monitor the implementation of individual treatment plans.
• Work with clients to foster the development of new and improved coping, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To qualify as a Mental Health Counselor to provide counseling services, the individual must have the designated clinical experience and:

1. Must have a Masters degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
2. Must have one of the following current state licenses by the state board(s):

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)

1. Must be independently licensed to practice without supervision.
2. No disciplinary actions.
3. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and sympathetic nature.
4. Must be computer literate
5. Must have stable Wi-Fi.
