We are a progressive Ophthalmic medical and surgical practice, searching for a Perioperative Nurse to add to our team. Responsibilities include:

• Provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the ambulatory surgery center in accordance with physicians orders, recognized nursing standards, and legal aspects of current nursing practices within the state and the centers policies and procedures.
• Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics.
• Demonstrates initiative, insight, and judgment in the decision-making process.
• This position operates in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Hold current license from the State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of a college or university and/or accredited school of nursing preferred
• Ophthalmic experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Current CPR/AED is mandatory, and ACLS is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products and G-Suite environment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique as it applied to the operating room.
• Maintain a professional presentation, patient confidentiality and have strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organization and attention to detail
