Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least 2 years of current infusion experience
  • Active and unrestricted RN licensure in California
  • Experience with IV infusions: PICC lines, Ports, and Peripherals is required
  • Current CPR and ACLS certificates required
  • Provide friendly, professional care in person and through all communication, including education about prescribed treatments.
  • Ensure oral, IV, IM, and SQ medications are administered safely and accurately; collect labs if necessary.
  • Assess patients pre-, during, and post-IV infusions and notify the provider of any abnormal findings.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by monitoring and managing infection control measures.
  • All documentation, including visit notes, treatment plans, etc., must be completed promptly.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check are required
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
