ROLE: Provide mobile X Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and
other miscellaneous facilities.
Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality medical images for diagnostic purposes. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques to ensure accurate imaging results. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and fluoroscopy, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
Position patients correctly to obtain the most accurate images and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
Evaluate images for quality, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards and making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, discuss findings, and provide accurate reports.
Maintain patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Educate patients about imaging procedures, answering any questions and alleviating concerns to promote a positive experience.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance, quality control testing, and safety inspections.
Stay informed about advances in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and certification.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and imaging software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to patient care and safety, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The Radiologic Technologists may push/pull anywhere from 50 100 lbs. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When the tech is pushing/pulling the equipment in a facility or home; however, the weight can increase. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.

REQUIREMENTSMaintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
Valid drivers license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals. Alternatively, those seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation supporting their request.
