Superior Aircraft Services is looking for a dedicated and motivated professional to join our team as a Ramp Agent(link removed)> In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the overall operations of the airport are met by providing support and communication with Airlines and Supervisors. Requirements - Physical fitness: Lift and carry up to 70 lbs., and/ or on regular basis - repetitively lift items of 40 to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and crawl for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet bridge stairs.
- Ability to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
- Ability to work independently: Respond to requests for assistance and monitor incoming/outgoing flights without direct supervision.
- Ability to work in a team: Coordinate with supervisors, coworkers, and airline personnel to meet passengers' needs.
- Reliable transportation to and from Airport.
- Must have valid, non-suspended, drivers license.
- Background check required: Must possess at least two forms of identification (US passport, state or federal ID, social security card, birth certificate, etc.) to undergo a TSA background check. Immigration documents are also required for those born outside of the United States.
- Flexible schedule preferred: Airport operates 24/7/365, and flights are sometimes delayed.
- Night/closing shifts frequently extend past midnight.
- Customer service experience preferred; prior airport experience is ideal but not required.
- Second language proficiency is a plus.
What you will do: - Load, unload, service, and marshal aircraft.
- Lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader or baggage carts.
- Receive and record Customer baggage and company materials as required.
- Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft.
- Operate and/or drive motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag cart, lavatory cart, and deicers; or manually push and pull push carts and containers.
- Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments pertaining to procedures and enter Company's information system as required.
- Communicate any issues to Supervisors
