With our rapid and continual growth, SOS Security has an immediate opportunity available for a Receptionist in Northbrook, Illinois. We are looking for a Receptionist with strong administrative skills, a front office appearance and an outgoing personality. Our ideal candidate must have good computer skills and strong customer service skills with exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.



Job Duties may include:

• Greeting employees and visitors


• Answering incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate personnel or department


• Insuring all visitors sign in appropriately and issuing visitor badges


• Some computer assignments


• Possess the ability to maintain a high-level of attentiveness and energy at all times


• Must be able to multi-task efficiently and be flexible to shifting priorities and challenges


• Continual observation while maintaining great attention to detail


• Possess the ability to execute good judgment in difficult and/or emergency situations


• Creating incident reports and notifying the appropriate personnel in the case of an accident and/or emergency

• Prior experience with reception/front office required


• Exceptional customer service skills


• Excellent communication skills both oral and written


• Must be able to stand for extended time periods


• Must be able to work for any employer in the US


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen


• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent


• Must be 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
