Duro Electrical Contracting Corp is a leading company in the electrical contracting industry. We specialize in providing comprehensive electrical solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We are currently looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

The Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, so excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. In addition to handling phone calls and greeting visitors, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments and coordinating the daily schedules of our technicians and electricians. Your ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and route them to the appropriate person and documentation
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule of technicians and electricians, working with Foreman
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and address their inquiries and concerns accurately and expeditiously
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Notary a plus
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role in the construction field or equivalent experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and works well with other team members
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other office equipment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating appointments is necessary
  • Knowledge of the electrical contracting industry or construction is a plus
