Caring for Family of Companies is seeking an experienced (RN) Registered Nurse to join our team of amazing in-home care providers! This position will provide services to our clients to help keep them safe and independent in their own homes. We provide services for IADLs, ADLs, Medication Administration, and Nursing Delegations. We treat our clients and care staff with dignity, respect, and compassion. The schedule is flexible and offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks. You will get the opportunity to work with our caregiving staff one-on-one, in small groups monthly, and with all our caregivers at our quarterly meetings.

Requirements

  • Overseeing the medication administration and nursing program
  • Training and delegating caregivers
  • Assessing client nursing/medication needs, including care plan development
  • Overseeing client evaluations
  • Counseling patients and families with nursing related needs
  • Collaborate with clients primary physician as needed
  • Assist critical care clients as needed
  • Flexibility in their schedule
  • A desire to help a vulnerable population
  • A desire to pass on knowledge to our wonderful caregivers
  • A desire to be out in the community instead of the same facility each day
  • A cheerful attitude and kind disposition
  • A team environment where we collaborate to provide the best-individualized care plans for our clients
  • A supportive team of Administrators and fellow Nurses (including monthly Nurse meetings.

Additional:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon
  • Valid drivers license, vehicle, and proof of valid auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Proficient with technology and electronic devices
  • Ability to conduct training for Caregiving staff (material is pre-set)
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Experience with geriatric patients preferred
