This position sometimes requires 2 to 3 days a week of being out, as well as sometime up to 2 weeks. There are currently no health insurance.



Position Responsibilities:



· This position will require being out 2 to 10 days at a time OTR, with some regional, and home most nights when running locally.



· Responsible for driving a rig. There are few overnight stays with most deliveries consisting of day trips.



· Inspect golf carts before and after every rental and record any defects. Inspections include cleanliness, batteries charged, lights and signals working, seats and other plastics not-damaged, tires in workable condition, etc.



· Actively plan delivery & pick-up routes for efficiency using maps or GPS.



· Properly and safely secure carts to a trailer with straps for delivery & pick-up.



· Obtain customer signatures at every delivery/pickup, collect payments when needed, and present a professional, helpful and friendly Company image.



· Responsible for transporting golf carts from one place to another using an Isuzu type truck, Rig, or pickup truck with up to a ten-car trailer, while following all applicable traffic laws. Stay in regular communications with the office to ensure coordination during deliveries or pick-ups and in case of any changes.



· Safely operating a standard transmission truck with a capacity of 4 to 24 golf carts at a time over intercity routes and sometimes long distance such as the East Coast of Florida. Some driving will be outside of Florida including Georgia. Ability to safely maneuver Isuzu truck or truck and trailer in tight areas and changing terrain/weather conditions.



· Load and unload golf carts at a designated area in the company’s yard, and provide assistance for loading and unloading carts with other drivers as carts move in and out of the Company’s facility.



· Responsible to maintain truck and trailer equipment used in executing this job description. This includes filling up on fuel and cleaning inside of the truck after it is used, inspecting the truck before and after a trip and record any defects, and helping to keep the truck regularly cleaned to show the Company well.



· Meet daily with your manager to learn the day’s plan, to review the coming days needed work and deliveries/pick-ups, and to ensure coordination to execute the business successfully.



· Ensure that all safety procedures are implemented and enforced with any cart, when doing any work on the property, and in all instances of driving the vehicles and trailers for the Company.



· Assist in annual planning concerning the on-going preventative maintenance (PM) needs of the lease fleet, help to build the PM program for the leasing business overall, and assist as requested by the manager to grow the business.
