Responsibilities include:

• Style patients in frames that meet their visual and lifestyle needs
• Recommend products based on the patients lifestyle and visual needs
• Educate patients on the latest lens technologies

• Assisting with general front office operations: answering the phone, check-in, check-out, and pretesting patients
• All things insurance: verifying eligibility, answers questions, authorizing benefits, and pricing orders
• Floating offices include: Bloomington, Columbus, Shelbyville, Terre Haute, Mooresville, Martinsville, Beech Grove, and Greenwood

• This is a regional floating position, travel between 8 of Dr. Tavel locations is required, when needed
• Ability to change your scheduled hours or location on short notice
• Ability to work different shifts, between the hours of 7:30a 7:30p, when needed
• Reliable transportation is a must!
• Previous experience as an Optician is required
• A positive attitude and a willingness to strive for excellence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus
