L'Occitane, Inc. seeks a Regional Infrastructure IT Expert. Position based in NYC w/ part-time telecommuting within commuting distance of NYC office permitted. Regional and international travel required up to 10% of the time. The salary range for this position is: $137,114 – $138,263 per year.

The Regional Infrastructure IT Expert supports the integration, security, and server administration of L’Occitane’s complex Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Engineering systems across the Americas. They will provide input on design and contribute to management of the future direction and growth of the IT infrastructure environment, performing design and implementation of enterprise-wide infrastructures, including Windows servers, VMWare environment, enterprise networks, storage solutions, and Unified Communications. They will be responsible for the administration of the entire workstation and server ecosystem across multiple physical locations.

Additional duties will include:

1)Assessing and reviewing system configuration for VMWare environments and Windows Servers, including active directory, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), and server clustering. Performing PowerShell scripting to automate management of systems.
2)Providing IT training on the Microsoft Cloud/Infrastructure and troubleshooting.
3)Generating solutions that are compatible with internal systems.
4)Managing and installing technologies and software solutions.
5)Implementing security procedures at the forefront of a project that is being implemented.
6)Maintaining secure and compliant network processes and procedures.
7)Managing the AirWatch Mobile Device Management software.
8)Installing and overseeing Microsoft SQL servers.
9)Manage Office 365 user accounts, access and licenses
10)Manage issue escalation and resolution with Vendor (i.e., Microsoft)
11)Ensuring database systems have high availability to its user and backup strategies are deployed.
12)Upgrading with platforms and software with service patches.
13)Configuring the Microsoft Exchange Server on-site.
14)Overseeing the System Center Configuration Manager (“SCCM”) Distribution Points; and,
15)Creating and developing machine/device catalogs and collections.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science or foreign equivalent in computer science or related field plus 5 years of experience as an IT systems engineer or related occupation.

This position also requires five years of experience with the following:

1)Assessment and review of system configuration for VMWare and Windows Server
2)Windows server technologies including active directory, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), and server clustering
3)PowerShell Scripting
4)Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
