The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for:

• Planning regular and modified diets for all age patients as prescribed by Medical Staff


• Routinely visiting and counseling patients with nutritional needs


• Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs


• Assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan

  The Registered Clinical Dietitian must:

  
  


• Be registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration


• Be licensed by the State in which the facility is located, to practice Dietetics


• Possess a B.S. degree in Food/Nutrition, General dietetics and/or Dietetics


• Be registration eligible through the American Dietetic Association


• Three years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred


• Rehabilitation experience is a plus
