Basic Job Requirements Active, unencumbered RN license from the state in which you plan to work Minimum 1-year experience of RN work experience in acute Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support ) Annual physical Negative TB test results Current BLS CPR certification required, with additional certifications to be required based on area of specialty: may be required to have ACLS, PALS, NRP, PEARS, etc. COVID-19 Vaccination** EPIC EMR experience a plus Job Responsibilities As a ShiftMed registered nurse, youll be responsible for but not limited to: Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels. Administering and recording medications per facility policy and procedures. Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, and electronic physician orders. Delegating appropriate tasks to nurse aides and ensuring proper care delivery. Supervising clinical operations for nursing and clinical care activities. Performing assessment data collection in an ongoing, systemic manner. Reviewing and evaluating data collected by other healthcare professionals. Developing care plans that prescribe nursing actions to achieve patient goals. Identifying patient/family learning needs and implementing appropriate processes. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility you schedule shifts with. **ShiftMed adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations.
