A Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center in Plano is searching for Registered Nurses for its Medical/Surgical Units. They offer four specialized units, including General Med/Surg, Oncology, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, and Telemetry. The Med/Surg RN will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the unit and work collaboratively with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care to patients whose needs range from basic to complex, utilizing the nursing process.
- Formulate care plans with interdisciplinary team members and evaluate patients responses to treatments.
- Document care provided and the patients progress toward desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about the care plan and how to manage their care after discharge.
- Administer medications to patients as directed.
Qualifications:
- A BSN is required
- Active RN license.
- 1+ years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital.

- Full-time, permanent position
- Schedule; 3x12
- Shifts available; 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Pay: $30-46/hr., depending on experience, + differentials.
