Job Position: Registered Nurse in the Center for Sleep Medicine (CSM) Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage sleep disorders
• Provide chronic disease management education for patients
• Assess treatment response and adjust care plans accordingly
• Support physicians in managing ongoing patient care and optimize availability for new consultations
• Handle patient phone calls, secure messaging, prescription requests, and prior authorizations
• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, education, and interventions
• Coordinate patient follow-up visits and provide specialized therapies
• Participate in presentations and contribute to the advancement of the field
  
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Experience in applicable care settings or LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in psychiatry, pediatrics, or pulmonary care preferred
• Current RN license and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Additional specialty certification/training may be required
