Position Summary

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is the multispecialty medical care center for critically ill patients who require surgery or are recovering from surgery. 

Qualifications:

• BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.


• At least 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years in acute care hospital setting.


• Must have a minimum 1 year as an RN w/ BSN or 2 plus years as an RN w/Associates.


• Must have experience in desired specialty.


• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.

Additional Information:

MSICU – 21 beds

• Complex medical illnesses with multiple comorbidities


• Sepsis, liver failure, GI bleeds, ARDS, multiple organ failure, complex oncology, neuro, respiratory failure, post-operative monitoring


• Stroke certified unit
