**If hired for this position, you will be eligible for a $6,000 sign on bonus and an additional $6,000 Child and Adolescent Inpatient sign on bonus.Payment for both will be made in 5 equal installments spread over the year.Continuation of payment for the sign on bonuses is dependent on your continued employment ina bonus eligible position.**

The Adolescent Female Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 22 bed unit for the multi-disciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization of adolescent female patients. Discharge planning emphasizes movement to day hospital or outpatient care as soon as the crisis has been stabilized.

*This is a part-time (32 hrs. per week), benefit eligible position.*

As a Registered Nurse/RN you will:

• Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
• Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
• Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
• Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
• All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
