Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care and support to our patient with developmental disabilities. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.



Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care and support to our patient following established care plans and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor and assess the patient's condition, including vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health.
- Assist the patient with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain effective communication with the patient, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in a healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficient clinical skills and comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to assess and respond promptly to changes in the patient's condition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.



Additional Information:
- Our patient is a 56-year-old male with developmental disabilities, requiring assistance with mobility and activities of daily living. He weighs 190 pounds and may require ventilator support at times. He resides with his elderly mother, who is an integral part of his care team.
