Compensation-90,000-101,000 (Excellent benefits package and an awesome PTO Plan )
Schedule- 9-am-6pm. weekends off!!!
Our healthcare facility is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse with a community health background to join our team. As a Community Health Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for educating students about health and wellness, providing patient care, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and support in a community health setting
- Educate students about health and wellness
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to promote patient wellness
- Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Participate in health fairs and community outreach programs
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Requirements:
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a community health setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health education principles and practices

Qualifications:
Minimum: High school graduate plus State RN license. Must have active, unrestricted licenses, and work within scope of their license.
Preferred: One year nursing experience, plus Job Corps experience desirable.
Knowledge: Sound nursing techniques. Ability to relate effectively to student population. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to carry out instructions without constant supervision. Must maintain CPR certification.
