- Job Title: Registered Nurse Utilization Review
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
- Job Duration: 13(weeks)
- Orientation: 40 hours @ $0 Non-Billable
- Description: All RTO must be submitted upfront.
Requirements: 2-year acute medical Care Manager experience performing Care Coordination and Admission Reviews. Must have strong Utilization Review skillset. Will accept first time travelers. Must have CA license.
- Admission Criteria (InterQual) (MCG in NorCal) (ED only)
- Familiar with InterQual
- Experience with HMOs, IPAs, etc.
- Experience with Assessing patients, Care Coordination, and Discharge Planning
- Knowledge of adoption/foster care, drug/alcohol abuse treatment options, patients experiencing homelessness, patients with mental health history or in crisis, advance directive, POLST, protective services process, etc.
- Epic Experience Preferred
- Computerized documentation, required.
- 2-year acute medical Care Manager experience performing Care Coordination and Admission Reviews
- Weekend rotation
- Case Load up to 25 patients
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical Exemptions Only
