Weekend Commitment Program FT
- FT (36 hours / weekend)
- 20% of employee's base rate
- Weekend shifts are defined as Friday to Monday
- Eligible for clinical ladder
- Eligible for shift differential
- NOT eligible for weekend differential as this is built into the weekend premium.
- PTO plan - up to 144 hours front-loaded in PTO bank to cover 4 weekends off per year.
- Holiday worked are requirement when holiday falls within the weekend commitment scheduled shifts.
- 3 East 27-bed unit; primary focus renal and oncology
- Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focuses on clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role within the Med-Surg environment.
Position Function: The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
Experience
- Previous nursing experience in specialty area preferred
- For Medical Surgical (Renal, Oncology and Pediatrics), pediatric experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- CPR certification required.
