Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
The registered sleep technologist (RPSGT) works under the general supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.
Job Duties:
Performs special Polysomnographic studies
Independently compiles data from scored Polysomnograms into reports
Assists in clinical research procedures
Calibrates all devices connected to recording system
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Current CPR/BLS required
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Annual influenza and COVID vaccines required.
