Description

We are now seeking a Regulatory Analyst to join our team who will provide project management coordination and administrative support, possess extensive knowledge of health care systems, federal/state policies and regulations, research techniques, skills, and ability, and will permit Integrity Management Services to achieve its business goals and provide high quality deliverables to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to multiple regulatory projects through all phases in a timely and efficient manner through collaboration with various departments.
  • Collaborate with department leads, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other IntegrityM team members as necessary to define potential areas or topics for analysis.
  • Research policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards primarily in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Marketplace and private insurance. Analysis may be both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Collaborate with government program stakeholders including CMS, HRSA, VA, etc. to support all business lines, create specific policy requests and implications, and develop OIG/GAO reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Assist the Business Development team by working within the Federal Register to find opportunities forthcoming, filter out relevant information, and assisting in capture efforts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Overall management responsibility of the IntegrityM Research Library including ensuring materials are up to date and materials are sufficient to support the needs of the various business lines.
  • Responsible for assuring the methodology is compliant with government statutes, federal regulations and policies relate to the oversight of the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs, in particular those related to Program Integrity. Documents work according to quality assurance standards.
  • Keep up to date on new initiatives from the federal government, and the implications of those initiatives for the health care industry. Interprets regulatory rules or rule changes ensuring that personnel abide by current regulations when performing tasks. Uses research, writing, and other communications expertise to analyze several topics and issues.
  • Develop and deliver internal written products in memorandums, work papers, briefing deck, meeting minutes and other formats to teams and clients:
    • Attends project team meetings and puts together the agendas. Takes meeting minutes and collaborates and follows up on action items from meetings.
    • Works with a variety of stakeholders to develop broad insights that enable the development of legal and regulatory policy support and strategy.
    • Communicates research and analytical findings to internal teams and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related, scientific or public policy/business discipline with research coursework, combined with a minimum of two years health care regulatory analysis experience. Master's Degree in Public Health Epidemiology preferred.
  • Experience within industry and knowledge of topics under review.
  • Strong knowledge of analytic skills to conduct focused research.
  • Responds to tasks or requests in a cooperative and timely manner.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to change, and initiates or identifies change when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability in writing and orally to a variety of different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret laws and regulations to effectively present analysis to diversified audiences.
  • Strong customer services/management skills and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office 2007 software or higher version: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to details with exemplary organizational skills inapt to meeting deadlines and tracking administrative operational changes within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player.
