Position Overview:

Genvax Technologies seeks a Regulatory Associate to assist in the pursuit of a USDA CVB Veterinary Biologic Product License and a US Veterinary Biologics Establishment License. The structure of this role is flexible based on experience. If a candidate has strong regulatory experience, a part-time remote role is possible. If a candidate is seeking full-time employment, the role will be in person and the Associate will also assist the company with administrative tasks as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Part-Time, Regulatory Only:
    • Support VP of R&D to ensure accurate and timely submission of required correspondence
    • Help to build strong rapport with the USDA-Center for Veterinary Biologics
    • Coordinate with Genvax researchers to obtain accurate information and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
    • Work closely with regulatory consultants to determine an efficient approach to the process
    • Implement and maintain strict document control practices
    • Coordinate the proper transport of research materials & products
    • All other tasks as needed by the Company
  • Full-Time, Regulatory tasks above, plus:
    • Coordinate large R&D projects alongside the VP of R&D
    • Administer grants and grant applications
    • Attend and participate in industry meetings and conventions as directed by the company
    • Administer the Genvax Institutional Biosafety Committee

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with 5 years of experience
  • Experience working with a regulatory body (state, federal, USDA, FDA, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented
  • Effective and efficient communicator
  • Strong writing skills
