The Regulatory Coordinator will ensure legal compliance with all industry, state, federal, and international regulations, including coordination and management of all regulation and compliance of products and ingredients. The Regulatory Coordinator will be tasked with staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements/updates, managing documentation and submissions, and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The Regulatory Coordinator will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

Stay up to date with industry and regulatory requirements

Maintain product labels and documentation (safety data sheets, sale sheets, any other documents with specifications) up-to date in coordination with R&D, Marketing and Operations

Serve as contact person for national/ federal/ state regulatory agencies and organic certifiers requesting product information; coordinate activities with external contractors who currently assist in this capacity

Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and applications

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulations

Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, auditors, International contractors as needed

Identify and organize product composition and quality data (fertilizer/ elemental/ heavy metal analyses, microbiological testing)

Assist in the development and implementation of compliance strategies and programs

Conduct regular internal compliance audits

Assist in satisfying product importation requirements (contact person, facilitate document translation, etc.)

Ensure compliance with labeling, packaging, and advertising regulations

Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure proper information is communicated to public

Create innovative opportunities to speed up our ability to take products to market.

Requirements

Experience in regulatory affairs or a related field

Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficient in multiple tech platforms and systems
