The Auto Physical Damage Appraiser works with Staff Claims Adjusters and Claims Examiners in the adjustment of auto claims with consideration of subrogation, salvage and recovery, depreciation, and replacement costs. Responsible for preparing estimates, reviewing estimates and appraisals to assure they meet company guidelines, industry standards and state specific requirements, maximizing recoveries, managing vendors, as well as improving the customer service experience for our insureds.

Job Requirements: Must have an appraisers license in Vermont and other New England states, and the ideal candidate will have some experience adjusting auto claims. Must be ACE & ICAR Certified. An associate degree or higher, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, negotiation skills, and a high level of critical thinking and judgement required.
