Full-time Largely everything is the same, especially from the Insurance knowledge requirement and the overall goal of the project, but instead of Azure/ADF/Synapse, we will be ok with the resource having strong SQL, Views, PLSQL, SSIS experience instead. Azure or ADF has been moved to nice to have and working knowledge is not mandatory. Although it will definitely help if the resource has Azure experience as we will be able to leverage him for the next set of phases or other customers or Microsoft migration projects in the future. Must-have Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in data engineering Working experience in building solutions, Data Modelling, STTM and mapping exercises for an Insurance company Excellent understanding of Insurance domain subject areas like Claims, Billing, Policy, Submissions, AR etc. Deep knowledge of SQL, Views, PLSQL, Stored Procs, and experience working with DB2 and SQL Server Experience developing SSIS packages Experience interacting at the executive level Good-to-have Qualifications Experience with Azure Services especially ADF, Synapse and ADLS Gen2 Experience with Databricks, AI/ML, Streaming Data Experience with Azure application deployment Insurance Domain - MUST ADF and SQL - MUST Job Responsibilities Leads in the design and development of complex software that processes, stores and serves data for use by others. Designs and develops complex and large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights Writes complex ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems and develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. Ensures that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable and secure. Improves data consistency and integrity. Integrates data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards. Designs data infrastructure for scalability, availability, reliability Interacts with internal and external peers and management to share highly complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology/business solutions. Create technical design documents and supporting materials Provides thought leadership to embrace modern data science and data analytics as a critical enabler for business decisions Guides and mentors a wide range of audiences.
