Our manufacturing company is actively seeking a Regional Extrusion Blow Mold Process Engineer Technical Specialist for a remote position. This Engineer will provide all process related technical leadership as well as interface with other parts of the organization: QA, customer relations, new product development, process control and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to operations and to the sales and marketing groups as needed.


• Communicate with Key Customers on a regular basis to ensure that all Injection issues are dealt with in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations.


• Manage and report project feasibility.


• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and all deliverables are met.


• Act as technical liaison between engineering and the customer to determine the system requirements of all product lines.


• Perform and establish the tool and equipment qualification approval at the vendor location.


• Establish and maintain data resource information relative to packaging, machinery and processes.


• This individual will troubleshoot and train others on extrusion blow mold machines, especially the Beckum with muller heads.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or relevant experience or certifications in Engineering or related field (Plastics focus a plus)


• 10+ years of experience in an Extrusion Blow Molding process development role and/or blow molding field troubleshooting role Automotive background will not be considered!!!!!


• Extrusion blow molding machine functionality and troubleshooting.


• Hands on ability to operate Bekum HDPE machine platforms.


• System interfaces and interactions for maximum performance.


• Travel 75-90% of the time to Midwest Region.
