Business Analysis Manager

Archtop Fiber is seeking a Business Analysis Manager who will serve as a technical expert in analysis, design, coding, and testing innovative data warehouse reporting solutions. Position will report to the

Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

What youll do:

  • Design, build, maintain and publish visual dashboards to track KPIs
  • Work with analysis staff to ensure modeling requirements meet reporting needs
  • Contribute to the overall design and execution of the data warehouse to simplify the access to data and improve the overall data foundation for reporting
  • Participate in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with data stakeholders
  • Participate in Data Warehouse design including new subject area development and integration with existing data model
  • Create/modify data extraction routines into a standardized approach that can be repeatable and reusable

Job Description

  • Work closely with key stakeholders, business representatives and technical resources to get a solid understanding of the source to ensure a full understanding of business processes and rules that need to be applied to the data
  • Participate in requirements gathering ensuring technical solutions meet stated business objectives
  • Maintain knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and cloud solutions that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating systems
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties, as required

What youll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data analysis or data visualization role, required
  • Experience in designing analytics data layers and conducting base ETL with large complex datasets
  • High level of expertise in SQL, required
  • High level of expertise with Tableau, PowerBI or similar tool, required
  • Understanding of various data stores (database, files, XML, etc.) and how best to extract data, required
  • Enterprise BI Experience, preferred
  • Experience with Python a plus
  • Strong, relentless attention to details
  • Internet service provider or cable industry, preferred
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute to new ideas, required
  • Results oriented with roll-up-the-sleeves attitude proven ability to execute
  • Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Competitive salary range for this opportunity is $100,000-$130,000
