Business Development Manager

I am looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Field Sales Executive that is skilled in managing existing customers but more importantly can build long standing relationships and secure new business.

As the Business Development Manager / Field Sales Representative you will need the ability and experience of selling into SME markets as well as Large Corporates(link removed)>

As the Business Development Manager, you will be working for a very successful and proactive Engineering and Manufacturing company that produce a specialist range of products and components utilised by multiple sectors to include automotive, Off Highway, Aerospace, Rail, Marine and many more.

They can also design and produce bespoke work to customer requirements and supply in any quantity.

Some of the specialist products produced include Gas Struts, Access Hardware, Spring Products, Anti Vibration Mounts and Linear Actuators(link removed)>

For this role you will ideally come from a similar Business Development background and have technical sales experience

Ideally Located Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Watford, Swindon, Slough, Crawley, Basingstoke, Reigate, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe,

Salary 35K to 45K plus Bonus & Commission (OTE 70K plus) + Company Car + Pension + 25 days Hols plus BH (33 days total) + Laptop + Mobile Phone + Early Friday Finish + Hybrid / Remote

The Candidate

  • Experienced Business Development Manager / Field Sales Executive.
  • Ideally technical sales ability(link removed)>
  • Ideally from an engineering / manufacturing sales background or similar.
  • Be experienced selling into SME and Large Corporates.
  • Be experienced in account management and development.
  • Must be able to build new business relationships and secure new business.
  • Attend trade shows to represent the business.
  • Be well organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Be team orientated and able to work with multiple departments (design, procurement, manufacturing) to fulfil customer requirements.
