South Valley Equine is a leading equine veterinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment to horses in the South Valley region. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support informed business decisions and overall clinic growth.

As a Data Analyst at South Valley Equine, you will collaborate with different departments, including veterinary services, administration, and operations, to gather and analyze data. Using advanced analytics techniques, you will identify trends, patterns, and insights to optimize clinic operations, enhance patient care, and improve overall efficiency. Your expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization will be crucial in providing actionable recommendations to drive positive patient outcomes and business success.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics models, algorithms, and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and define key performance indicators.
  • Design and implement data collection systems, processes, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct regular audits of data to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis methods and tools.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with equine healthcare or veterinary industry is a plus.
