Job Title: Dev Testing EngineerLocation: Spring, TX (All On-site) Hire Type: Full Time PermanentLevel 3 Who are we looking for?We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Dev Testing Specialist to joinour Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring theour Quality Assurance team quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. As a Dev Testing Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the development teams to identify, report, and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle.Technical Skills: Good understanding of System Security products Knowledge of Windows OSs (Client OS) Knowledge of WinPE environment, Power Shell Commands, and scripts. Exposure working with Proto units / pilot units Work experience on Security tools / applications. Good understanding of the Laptop / Desktop hardware, HDDs (embedded and external) Good understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP protocol Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases that align with project goals. Work with the Core QA team to help with new features, work on bugs, Training Understanding reading logs and collecting reports Good knowledge of reproducing issues and collecting logs from the pre-boot environment. Work experience in Microsoft Azure tools Work experience in working on Agile process Knowledge on Windows Accessibility tools, Language testing Basic understanding of embedded programming devices / tools, like - DediProg. Knowledge of Raspberry with Linux OS with commands Provide clear and concise feedback to development teams regarding defects and recommended solutions. The following is not mandatory, but would be a plus: OS Recovery solutions Embedded technology Behavioral Skills: Requires flexibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Should possess very good communication, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, and collaboration skills. Qualification: Bachelor's or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent. 4 5 years of experience
