The Implementation Engineer Network position will provide onsite installation support for various customers within the DoD and US Government. The role will involve cabling network and server systems; installation, and configuration of Virtual Routers (Cisco CSR and Juniper SSR); and racking and installation of systems. The role will also involve providing oversite of multi-vendor installations at various remote locations to include supporting Microsoft Azure Stack installations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must!

What youll do:
- Installation of virtual routers (Cisco CSR & Juniper SSR) at customer locations.
- Cable systems at customer locations (in rack and between racks)
- Document final installed configuration
- Provide oversite to other onsite vendors.
- Work within a combined vendor team to resolve issues and keep delivery on schedule.
- Travel to various locations (CONUS and OCONUS) to install systems for DoD customers.
What youll bring:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in a technical role delivering systems and networks.
- Proficient with multi-vendor data center offerings, to include Dell, HPE, Nutanix, Cisco, Aruba, VMware and others.
- Proficiency to deploy routers or switches if provided a configuration, to include troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems and virtualization solutions as pertinent to data center solutions.
- Must have (or able to obtain quickly) necessary manufacturer certifications for job performance.
- Ability to travel to customer locations with a flexible schedule to support business needs (up to 75% travel), may require weekend travel for certain sites (i.e international locations).
- Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 lbs.
- 4-year Technical Degree (BS) or higher preferred.
- Data center management background preferred.
- Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
- Must have (minimum) current secret level security clearance issued by the US Government, Top Secret preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD issued ID Card.
