ABDS, Inc. is currently seeking for a Linux Security Admin. Position: Linux Security Admin Location: Remote. Job Description: Scripting Expert (Primarily Bash Scripting) Excellent working knowledge on RHEL 6/7/8 server hardening process to secure systems Strong scripting background in languages such as bash, shell.etc. Experience on automating Linux server hardening using `bash scripting and deploying across a large number of servers using tools like Tanium. Experience on writing scripts to automate the backup, remediation and rollback functionality for RHEL servers. Experience working with Secure Linux based servers, troubleshooting Linux boot issues and providing fixes. Familiar with enhanced Linux security hardening techniques and deep understanding of RHEL 8,7,6 server hardening CIS standards and remediations commands. Excellent research skills with a strong focus on testing implementations before executing in production in a test environment. Work with infrastructure/security teams to analyze infrastructure IT security remediation processes and generate automated scripts for Linux platforms. Must Have Skills: Linux Server Security Expert, Automation and Scripting Expert (Primarily Bash Scripting Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
