Our client, who is one of the nations largest mortgage servicing companies has several new positions open due to growth. These are underwriting roles for the portfolio lending group. Earning potential is extremely high and training and opportunity for growth are un-matched in the industry.
This is a high-volume underwriting role. We are interested in speaking with candidates that have recent mortgage underwriting experience in a high volume atmosphere.
Value Proposition:
- Base salary, plus OT and monthly per file bonus. Average total compensation is 150 – 175K

Job Duties:
- Analyze and document highly complex financial and credit information.
- Underwrite a wide variety of product and loan types.
- Compile, analyze, and document loan data and credit risk, borrower and property information.
- Review more complex loans requiring exceptions.
- Provide updates and communication to processors, mortgage professionals and borrowers regarding documents needed to ensure a quick turn around time.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years RECENT experience in front line mortgage underwriting. Preferably in a high volume, portfolio lending environment.
- Advanced analysis skills in the areas of credit, layered risk and income.
- Preference for DE, LAPP or SAR Certified underwriters but not required.
- High school diploma or GED
