Position Overview:

The Offshore Excursions Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional guest experience of offshore excursions and activities. This position primarily involves planning, coordinating, and advising on a variety of offshore excursions and activities for guests, often in a maritime or cruise ship setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excursion Planning: Collaborate with excursion vendors and partners to plan and organize a diverse range of offshore excursions and activities, considering factors like safety, guest preferences, and local regulations.
• Guest Consultation: Consult with guests to understand their preferences, interests, and special requirements to recommend suitable offshore excursions tailored to their needs.
• Itinerary Development: Create detailed excursion itineraries, including transportation, activity schedules, and any necessary permits, ensuring that each excursion operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all offshore excursions adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and local laws. Conduct safety briefings and communicate emergency procedures to guests.
• Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with excursion vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring service quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Booking and Reservations: Handle excursion bookings, manage availability, and provide pricing information to guests. Coordinate reservation processes efficiently.
• Guest Assistance: Be available to answer guest questions, provide guidance, and resolve issues related to offshore excursions, both before and during the trip.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate excursion experiences, seeking continuous improvement in quality, guest satisfaction, and feedback collection.
• Communication: Effectively communicate excursion details and updates to guests through various channels, including written materials, presentations, and in-person interactions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of excursion data, including guest lists, feedback, expenses, and revenue, to facilitate reporting and analysis.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must Be at least 18 YOA
• Must have legal authorization to work in the USA.
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in excursion planning, tourism, or cruise ship operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and emergency procedures is a plus but not required. We will train you in everything you will need to fulfill this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and booking systems is a plus.
