Oracle EBS Service Contracts Functional with billing functionality 3 months+ Onsite role/ resource can work remotely Client wants to implement a periodic billing schedule (yearly, monthly etc) for extended warranty sales globally. This will need to be configured through the Service Contracts billing functionality in Oracle EBS. In addition to configuring the out of the box functionality, there may be additional work and customizations needed to: Consolidate the periodic AR Invoices for a customer and order Handle credit memos for product returns covered under extended warranty, including correct revenue/COGS accounting in AR and GL Handle cancellation of service contract lines, including correct revenue/COGS accounting in AR and GL Modify the existing custom AR invoice prints to ensure that the AR invoice generated from Service Contracts has the Sales Order reference and billing period details The business should be able to see the status of customer payments for extended warranties on a periodic billing schedule, maybe through a custom report unless standard functionality exists to support this Should be able to see future billing schedule and amounts The solution design should be able to accommodate subscriptions and rentals in the future, and other product offerings Explore if Service Contracts billing can also be used to bill extended warranties in arrears Our Oracle EBS environment is on-premise, version 12.2.6. Order Management, Service, Core Service Contracts and AR are already implemented and functional for many years, so none of that core functionality has to be built.
