iotaMotion is hiring a Product Manager, Cochlear Implant Robotics

About the position:

iotaMotion develops and commercializes robotic-assisted surgical technologies. The first commercially available product is iotaSOFT Insertion System, which controls the insertion of a cochlear implant electrode array shown to reduce trauma to the cochlea. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage with surgeons to optimize their treatment of those with sensorineural hearing loss.

This individual will serve as Product Manager, Cochlear Implant Robotics. The Product Manager, Cochlear Implant Robotics will report directly to the Director, Professional Marketing & Medical Education. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and project management skills. The individual will work closely within the marketing and sales functions, while executing successful product launches and ongoing product lifecycle management.

This position is a remote position, but there is an expectation of routine travel as part of the role.Therefore, candidates should live near a major US city, with a preference towards Minneapolis or Denver.

Day In the Life:

  • Lead in the development and execution of product launch plans covering a broad range of topics including: supply chain and operations, professional education and training, professional marketing and internal training on the product
  • Ongoing management of product throughout the lifecycle including ensuring appropriate inventory, monitoring product feedback and supporting daily operations
  • Contribute to the creation, execution and oversight of strategies that will maximize profitability and market adoption of the technology
  • Lead in the development and execution of professional conference strategy including: determination of relevant conferences, booth design, logistics, set-up, conference promotion
  • Lead in society, trade show, and locally-hosted program support; utilize the opportunity at these events to gain customer mindshare through promotional messaging tools and event programs
  • Lead the execution of specific professional marketing tactics including: professional webinars, podcasts, email campaigns, social media, etc.
  • Own in the day-to-day execution of educational initiatives professional education initiatives including: development of training resources, executing on internal and external training/lab event
  • Collaborate with Commercial Team on content, material creation, and education strategy for diverse sales force needs
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors product line financials, demand trends, customer movements, so that market opportunities may be capitalized on
  • Creating and executing business plans through marketing strategies, goals, and tactics; Responsible for development, execution, and business performance of all programs designed to meet business objectives
  • Work with Sales leadership on monitoring effectiveness of commercial strategies and assessing adjustments or any inefficiencies that should be optimized
  • Communicate with upstream marketing on areas of opportunity/gaps in product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Director, Professional Marketing & Medical Education on both development and execution of customer and internal team education and events
  • Develop and manage relationships with physician consultants and KOLs for marketing engagement opportunities
  • Collaborate and partner with the broader marketing organization on joint marketing efforts
  • Provide regular performance updates to the team

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, life sciences or related field
  • Minimum of 5 Years of relevant experience
  • Self-starter with ability to function in a rapidly evolving startup environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Nice to Have:

  • MBA
  • ENT/Cochlear Implant experience
  • Medical device industry experience
