NHCJE Job Description: Program Coordinator

The program coordinator will be a central member of the NHCJE team, assisting in day-to-day administrative, organizational, communications, and operational activities related to programs and events. This person will provide professional administrative support and serve as a key resource for the organizations internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate activities of the NHCJE team, consultants, and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of projects.

2. Organize and implement a range of programmatic activities to support NHCJEs strategic plan.

3. Monitor and manage communication activities for website content, social media, and published materials.

4. Act as a liaison and ambassador for NHCJE to maintain effective working relationships with external partners.

5. Assist with grant and contract development and participate in other fundraising activities.

6. Assist in conference, program, event, and meeting planning, including staffing and other needs.

7. Develop and manage dissemination of communications to internal and external stakeholders.

8. Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will likely have a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, management, or other applicable area of interest and two years of related experience; an Associate's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and work/lived experience demonstrating the ability to be successful in this role.

Key characteristics include strong interpersonal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with Adobe software, LinkedIn, and other social media; ability to easily learn and work with new software, and a commitment to issues of diversity, equity, and justice. Experience in project management or communications is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $51,500.00 per year
