Title: Puppet Consultant 3+ Months Remote Description: Consultant/Engineer for upgrade of Puppet. Roles and Responsibilities: Design and implement the deployment pipeline for continuous delivery of code and configuration changes the Puppet pipeline Automation of the provisioning and management of Linux and Windows servers Automation of infrastructure services: network devices and services (Firewall, load-balancer, DNS, Active Directory), virtualization, monitoring and storage Provide visibility into business and systems performance metrics, in support of capacity planning and business reports Work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to maintain, manage and enhance the platform Develop system status dashboards and web interfaces to display and alert on service SLAs Automate, automate, automate - eliminate manual tasks for speed and consistency Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:- 7+ years experience in systems programming Fluency in at least one scripting language; Experience in a Cloud, SaaS or web environment
