WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Remote Restricted

WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Remote within a commutable distance to designated Company location.

WORK LOCATION: Dallas, TX (DLS) Office or Hillsboro, OR (NCP) Office

EXPECTED PAY RANGE : $91,155 - $125,338 annually

This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

As an Applications Analyst, this role primarily involves managing the Salesforce platform within the organization, encompassing both development and administrative responsibilities. Key tasks include guiding project design, conducting system audits, managing user accounts, data integration, and providing Salesforce training. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Salesforce, including declarative development and system administration, accompanied by relevant Salesforce certifications. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and strong collaboration with stakeholders to enhance business processes and implement technical solutions. A deep understanding of Salesforce products and best practices is essential, alongside project management experience and proficiency in tools like Salesforce Lightning and Excel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Declarative development within our Salesforce organization.
  • Responsible for providing guidance during requirements gathering and application design.
  • Create requirements definition documentation including project scope, and assist with all phases of project delivery.
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, ticket handling, reports/ dashboards, workflows, data loading/cleansing/de-duplication, and other routine tasks.
  • Effectively act as a liaison between our users and the application development teams.
  • Assist in training of new users and grow the (link removed) skill set across the organization.
  • Manage data feeds between Salesforce and SAP and other integrations.
  • Troubleshoot problems and implement suitable solutions in a timely manner.
  • Implement Salesforce solutions to solve business challenges, improve processes, and increase adoption.
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning and staying up to date with new technology, inspiring others within the organization to do the same.
  • Be a self-learner who leads by example and challenges the status quo.
  • Quickly learn business needs, design practical Salesforce solutions, and communicate these clearly to stakeholders.
  • Improve business processes and efficiency in Salesforce using your strong business analysis skills.
  • Analyze business processes and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Salesforce products, processes, and best practices.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automated business processes.
  • Use tools such as Flow to build automations within Salesforce.
  • Advise and implement process automation within Salesforce, ensuring accurate documentation.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent industry work experience preferred.
  • Salesforce Certifications
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder - required
    • Salesforce Administrator - required
    • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant preferred
    • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant preferred

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years experience utilizing Salesforce in any capacity.
  • Expertise in Flows and Declarative Development in Salesforce
  • Highly familiar with Salesforces Security and Data models
  • Good understanding of the (link removed) platform functionality and limitations.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
    • This can be substitute with 3+ years of working for HTA with a demonstrated understanding of the business.
  • Applications Analyst should have a deep understanding of using Excel Formulas, including but not limiting VLOOKUP, RIGHT. LEFT, SUBSTITUTE, etc.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment (Nice to have)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • A demonstrated ability to use Excel or similar at an intermediate level.
  • Project management and Agile methodology experience required.
  • Salesforce Lightning experience required.
