T2 Tech is recruiting for a Senior IT Contract Administrator to act as a contract to hire capacity on behalf of T2 at one of their prestigious clients in Los Angeles. This hospital is a leader in the healthcare space as well as a premier teaching hospital.

Outline:

Manages all contracts and proposals. Will oversee contract management processes, develop standards for bidding and submission, negotiate contracts, and manage contract documentation. The Senior Contract Administrators role requires close collaboration with leaders as well as several departments including legal, compliance, clinical operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance. Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations. Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets. Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit CHLAs financial performance. Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.

Requirements

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Administer hospitals contract development and management activities
  • Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into databases and securely maintained.
  • Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.
  • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms.
  • Identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal. Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations. Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments.
  • Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

Masters degree in healthcare administration, business or related field. Legal education or professional experience in Contract Law.
