Position : Senior Product Manager (Items Management)Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)Duration : 12+ Months (Contract)Client: AlbertsonsVisa: USC/GC, H4EAD, No H1 Transfers Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for the merchandising and items category. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings. Collaborate with the merchandising team to curate a product assortment that meets customer demand and aligns with brand positioning. Work closely with the product development team to bring new items to market, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure a coordinated effort in launching and promoting products. Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators to evaluate the success of products and make data-driven decisions. Communicate product strategies, updates, and performance to internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, with a focus onmerchandising and items. Items Management experience as a Senior Product Manager in retail industry is a must. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Familiarity with market trends, consumer behaviour, and retail dynamics. Experience with product lifecycle management and assortment planning. Proficiency in using data analytics tools and software.
