Systems Analysts 6+ months Remote Must have healthcare exp. EDI Experience and a little Java Must be a USC Systems Analysts - all the info included is relevant, they also want more of a development skillset. Someone who knows java as well as EDI portion of the position. Some DBA type skillsets (most developers have experience working in a database, doing SQL queries, connecting databases. This is more of a Technical role than just a BA. Open to someone who is currently a BA - needs to have development side Could be some java development involved This is a pre-existing system - doing more enhancements and improvements to the application Top Skills: Java, database skill, EDI support skill, Postgres is nice to have *** PUBLIC TRUST *** If candidate is selected, they go through CMS screening process - must meet criteria to pass the screening process Spent 3 of last 5 years in the US They can be brought on (start) before passing the screening process Must be able to work on a W2 On call - there are testing responsibilities that may come up after hours. These roles will work closely with Developer so If an issue needs to be validated after hours or during off hours, we will need candidates to be willing to be flexible Job Description Must have EDI experience AND must have JAVA development experience. * Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system * Creates feature test strategies and environment needs * Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business * Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements. * Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement. * Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements * Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs * Supports team meetings by capturing related notes, and documents and tracks action items through to completion * Activities to include, but not limited to; providing advice regarding initiatives, risks, and risk management. assistance with communications etc * Implementation activities may include: assisting in defining scope, developing plans, timelines, cost/resource estimate, tracking action items and their resolution, and updating project/program plans and documentation * Collaborates with Federal Government clients to identify program needs, documents necessary actions, and track milestones and timelines to support overall program execution and future development * Assists in the development and updating of schedules and timelines and deliver decorate to requirements. * Prepares draft documents and notifications; then track and monitor progress through to completion, as applicable. Minimum Qualifications: * Requires an bA/BS degree in Information technology. computer science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience with documenting requirements and/or building test cases for a variety of technologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five year. Preferred Skills, capabilities, and experience * Experience testing/product quality processes tools and methods strongly preferred * Project management experience and training in facilitation strongly preferred. * Experience with 270/271 transaction files strongly preferred. * Must have EDI experience strongly preferred. * Additional Technical Experience: X12 Experience preferred. Preferred skills: * Government experience or experience working as a government contractor * Experience with Health IT systems and Electronic Data Interface (EDI) processing * Experience with 270/271 transactions and/or other X12 data formats * Experience with healthcare benefits policies and eligibility, specifically
