Role: Training Specialist/Instructor Location: May require travel to on-site at 80 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD, 21401; and other offices as needed. Some teleworking may be allowed. Duration:12+ months conract/ Anticipated Start Date - April, 2024 Responsibilities: The Training Specialist/Instructor will work with the technical writer's materials as well as research and create materials to deliver training and educational programs through instructor-led training, self-paced online training, online instructor-led training, and other interactive training and delivery channels. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs. 2. Prepares all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids 3. Prepares all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms 4. Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. *Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Education/Training in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred. *General Experience: Must have four (4) years of experience in information systems development, training, or related fields. *Specialized Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in developing and providing IT and end user training on computer hardware and application software.
