As a Remote Vacation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and organizing custom vacation itineraries tailored to the unique preferences and requirements of our clients. This role involves extensive research, excellent communication skills, and a passion for travel. This is a great opportunity! You will collaborate with clients and various stakeholders to ensure every aspect of their vacation meets or exceeds their expectations. With a focus on remote work, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Vacation Specialist to join our team and help create seamless and memorable travel plans for our diverse clientele.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their vacation preferences, including destination, budget, activities, and special requests.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their vacation preferences, interests, and special requests.
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and video conferencing to gather necessary information and provide updates on itinerary progress.
  • Utilize your knowledge of travel destinations, accommodations, activities, and transportation options to craft unique and personalized vacation itineraries.
  • Create customized vacation itineraries based on client preferences, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Ensure itineraries are well-organized, comprehensive, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Ensure that itineraries align with client preferences, budget constraints, and time constraints.
  • Stay up-to-date with travel trends, emerging destinations, and local experiences to provide clients with the latest and most relevant information.
  • Conduct thorough research on accommodations, activities, and transportation options to ensure quality and suitability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other travel industry partners to secure the best deals and options for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and new destinations.
  • Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc.
  • Work within client-defined budgets while providing options that offer value for money.
  • Promptly respond to all travel inquires.
  • Effectively manage your time when researching trips and communicating with clients
  • Create detailed and comprehensive itineraries, including day-to-day schedules, booking confirmations, contact information, and other relevant documents.
  • Maintain organized records of all client interactions, preferences, and trip details.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the planning and execution of travel itineraries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support before, during, and after the trip.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, and be authorized to work within the U.S.
  • Proven experience in travel planning, itinerary design, or a related role.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients (sales background a plus)
  • Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommend but not required.
  • Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality also a plus, but not required.
  • Salary range is $60,000-$80,000 in commission.
