InduPro is bringing life-changing therapies to patients through novel cell-surface platform technologies. We are defining and manipulating protein interactions beyond natural signaling paradigms(link removed) InduPro platforms integrate inherent protein proximity at the cell surface with the ability to manipulate protein pairings via induced protein proximity to create novel signaling pathways and logic gates.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an individual with Immunology research experience to join our growing and dynamic team as a Research Associate. As an integral member of InduPro, you will be responsible for various activities supporting our Immunology group to help establish experimental systems and test candidate therapeutics. The successful candidate will become part of a hardworking and supportive team that collaborates in science and celebrates successes.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing flow cytometry based assays of cell lines and primary cell cultures, such as immunophenotyping, receptor signaling readouts, and functional readouts
• Performing immuno-detection assays such as ELISA or CBA
• Performing bioluminescence based reporter cell assays
• Performing SDS-PAGE and western blot analysis
• Cell line maintenance
• Procuring and maintaining an inventory of experimental reagents and cell line stocks
• Plasmid DNA cloning and transfections
• Supporting other activities of InduPros Immunologists
• Working with the Immunology team to analyze data and generate presentations
• Contributing across functions and project teams by sharing of data, expertise, and constructive feedback

Requirements

Qualifications (strong candidates should have most):

• Bachelors degree in a biological science, with 2+ years of lab experience in academia or industry
• Hands-on knowledge of most of the activities described above
• Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and how to design and characterize new in vitro experimental systems
• Demonstrated ability to think critically about experimental results
• Demonstrated ability to carefully notice various details and anomalies in experimental setup and results, and to routinely communicate observations
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse disciplines
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills

The hiring pay range for this position is $74,000 to $92,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. Other components of the compensation package include a competitive new hire equity grant, and participation in an annual performance bonus incentive program.
