This is a California-based, fully remote position reporting directly to the Senior Brand Strategist. This role will be 10-20 hours a week at a rate of $25/hr.

As a Research Associate, you will be working collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team to monitor and analyze performance across brand and marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic-minded analytical individual who thrives in creative environments and will help guide our creative and technology teams to create digital work that exceeds our clients business goals. Were most excited to bring on someone who has their finger on the pulse of social media and web trends with experience monitoring social media accounts.
What You'll Do:
- Social Media Reporting: Develop reporting for marketing efforts, and be able to consolidate and analyze data pulled from social media performance tools to create compelling client-facing marketing reports.
- Primary Research Analysis:Perform analysis of survey research and user interview results, including sub-group analysis.
- Market Research: Get great at uncovering cultural and categorical research sources to support brand, social and content strategies.
- Insight Mining: Monitor competitive set brands and channels, benchmarking performance and content strategy, alongside tracking competitive, industry insights and trends across social media and content creation.
- Knowledge Generation: Work with our strategy and creative teams to develop a Notion database that can cross-link trends across industries.
- Always Help Us Get Better: You'll work alongside our Project Management team and Operations team to continuously improve our process, become more efficient and increase the quality of our work.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience at an agency, startup, or similar environment
- Proficient in research and data analytics
- Knowledge of all the main social platforms and best practices for each
- Familiarity with analytical platforms such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, Google Analytics
- Proficiency with Notion
- Detail-oriented and skilled in time and deadline management
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams, always in progress.
