Our Labs team is looking for a Research & Development Manager (Domain Intelligence) who thrives on new challenges and who is truly passionate about cybersecurity. A highly qualified candidate will also have experience working with threat intelligence, domain intelligence, and protective DNS. Its essential to be a highly organized person whos skilled in both cyber security and people management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3-5 highly skilled threat and domain intelligence experts
  • Set team direction, manage workloads, and help form strategic direction in the threat and domain intelligence space
  • Understand the current threat landscape and be able to prioritize work accordingly
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Customer Support, Engineering departments, and Product Management to incorporate and manage end-to-end threat intelligence projects into their work
  • Identify and propose improvements to existing processes and procedures
  • Develop and implement threat intelligence processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate identification, assessment, and response to cyber threats
  • Develop presentations/reports for senior management on emerging threats, trends, and best practices
  • Support client-facing teams with insights and data driven by threat intelligence research

Requirements

  • Ability to elaborate on your Cybersecurity expertise as it relates to protective DNS, domain intelligence, and/or threat intelligence
  • 4+ years of experience successfully managing direct reports
  • A passion for staying up to date with the latest cyber security trends and technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a mostly EST environment
  • Experience working remotely

    Bonus points for
    • Coding experience
    • Strategic planning and roadmap creation experience
    • Experience in innovation-based organizations

The hiring range for this role is: $130,000 - $165,000 USD annually.
DNSFilter is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The hiring base pay is dependent upon many factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and/or geographic location. As a fully remote company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets. Our Talent Team can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
