Position Summary
This post-graduate residency is a training program designed to provide the resident with a set of professional experiences that will enable them to develop and sharpen their patient care and clinical skills, promote independent thinking, deliver pharmacist services in inpatient or outpatient healthcare settings, conduct research and scholarship, and complete a teaching certificate.

Description Of Job Duties
- Provide clinical services in a variety of practice settings as well as complete a teaching certificate program.
- Attend department and school faculty meetings.
- Present three (3) hours of didactic lectures.
- Assist with pharmacotherapy labs.
- Complete at least one (1) major research project, submit at least one manuscript for publication, and attend ALCALDE (link removed)>
- Present at continuing education seminars and conduct two (2) formal presentations in the Controversies in Clinical Therapeutics seminar.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Adequate clinical rotations with diverse patient care experience.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA (link removed)>
Required Education
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
Required Work Experience
Experience with direct patient care rotations.
Preferred Qualifications

Required Certifications, Licenses Or Registrations
Eligible for Pharmacy licensure in Texas.
Work Hours
Minimum 40 hours/week. Variable schedule.
